We're Home!!!!!

Yes, we finally got to go home!!!!!!!! The surgeons approved us to leave in the morning, we just had to wait for the pediatricians approval. We exited the hospital at 2pm, hopefully for the last time. Of course we will go back to follow up with the surgeons a couple times. Unfortunately the G-Tube is still leaking a little, they prescribed a special padding to suck of the moisture and in a week the surgeons will evaluate if something is wrong. The main problem we have right now is that as a result of the surgery he can't burp. That's what we use the G-Tube for, but most of the time it doesn't get all of the air out of his tummy. Somewhere between 15min-90min after the feed, right in the middle of playing Tristan starts sceaming in anger. We're hoping the doctor can prescribe some medication to help with the gas pain. We are so blessed to finally be home and getting back to normal. The pediatric team still isn't sure if we have solved the problem that causes him to stop breathing, but Michael and I are thankful that Tristan had the surgery. The reflux seems to be gone, woo hoo! Michael and I are praying that we will never have an instance of stop breathing again. Thanks for the prayers.

Praise the Lord! Thanks for the pictures. I especially like the car seat. This proves he's a real Cook, happy to be in the car.
