Surgery Update #2
Tristan made it through surgery very well! The surgery took a little long- we waited 6.5 hours! By the end we were expecting the worst news, but the surgeon reassured us by coming out with a huge smile on his face. He did get a G-Tube which is a tube directly into is stomach that can be used for feedings or emptying gas. Tristan shouldn't need it for these purposes, but the surgeon wanted to put one in just to be safe. We will leave it in for a couple months just to be sure. We are waiting to see him in recovery right now. He will be moved to the PICU after that for observation overnight and then back to the regular pediatric room. Most likely we will be able to come home on Monday if all goes well. After surgery photos should be posted tomorrow when he's out of the ICU! God is great! Please continue prayers for a speedy/easy recovery.

How wonderful! Have thought about you all afternoon. Just talked to Joy so had a heads up about things. Am sooooooo glad things are going as well as can be. Try to get some rest. Consider yourselves hugged from me.
God is great!

I am so happy for the three of you!!! I feel like I have been there with you through all of this. I look everyday to see pictures and read what is going on in your life. Tristan is so adorable. You are in our prayers everyday.
