So the eye issue that we mentioned before has become a problem. We met with the opthamologist this morning, who was wonderful, and she recommended eye surgery as soon as possible. This means that tomorrow at 10am he will be having laser surgery. It's an hour and half long procedure and they have to put the ventilator back in and temporarily paralyze him to make sure he breathes and keeps still. Of course all of this makes us a little nervous, so prayers are requested for tomorrow. Let God be with Tristan and keep him safe and comfortable throughout the surgery and in recovery. We also pray for a quick removal of the vent so he can move back to the 5th floor into a crib with no oxygen as soon as possible Thanks!
P.S. The reason he looks so round in the picture to the right is because he's retaining fluid again from being on the IV. He definitely hasn't gained as much weight as it looks like!

Prayers are with Tristan and the medical staff....and for you, also. So many people are holding you in our thoughts and prayers...much peace and love,
Rosalee
I've been praying, and will continue prayers for today's surgery. I'm also praying that God will give both of you the strength to deal with the various complications that Tristan faces. I love all three of you very much! Blessings for today.

Prayers for you three and the doctors are happening in San Francisco!
