So we're still hanging out on the 3rd floor, ventilator and all. Tristan had a couple spells today, but even so they were able to wean him down a little on the settings. It sounds like they'll make another attempt tomorrow at removing it, but it depends on how he does tonight. He definitely seemed more relaxed than he did last night - we were pretty bummed out before seeing him that he was still intubated, but after our visit felt much better. Not much more hard info tonight, but I do have a crazy weight update. We'll get you some more pictures once he's not stuck full of stuff again.
Weight: 6 Pounds, 5 Ounces (yes Brian, he looks like he could eat the other babies on the 3rd floor!)

I knew that this child was going to be a healthy weight! Good heavens - he's going to be crawling before you get him home!!
Continuing prayers for his breathing -- I think we can all learn lots of patience from you, the medical staff and, most of all, from Tristan.
