One of our favorite things about the baby care class we took was how backwards everything was from the experience of having a preemie. "Don't give your baby a pacifier until they are good at the bottle." OK, but we started with the pacifier to teach him how to suck. So here's a picture of us breaking all the rules. Tristan had a good day and seems to be pretty much recovered in the breathing department. They've started feeding him a little, but he has not been digesting everything so they're not increasing the amount yet. The other bit of bad news is that his latest head ultrasound shows a small bleed on the right side of his brain. This is only a 1, the lowest level, but of course it still worries us. We held him twice today, though, because I gave blood this morning for him, so overall it was a good day.Weight update: 6 pounds, 3 ounces
Height update: 18 inches (46cm)

He's just so darned cute! I'll bet some rules were broken a time or two when you two were little also!

Tristan is looking great, we will all continue to pray for him and the family. I can't wait until he starts wearing his SC gear... LOL
