An Old Aquaintance Returns

This morning Tristan was able to move from the vent to the CPAP. Yay, Tristan! He has never really liked the CPAP much so hopefully he isn't on it for long. They keep him wrapped up tight so he can't pull at his tubes and so he stays warm. We also spoke with the eye doctor and after checking his eyes this morning she said they looked great. We are thankful that this huge step back resulted in a successful surgery. Also, although he's still in the incubator the heating part is turned off as if he were in an open air crib. They are just trying to be reserved and keep him in there another night in case something with his breathing changes. If he does well tonight he should be back in a crib and feeding again in the next day or two.

Yippee! Now, I'm off to bed - so glad for the good news/update. Prayers are continuing - Kathy at my church is the best! She checks every day on Tristan.
