Hope = "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith....may be proved genuine..." 1 Peter 1: 6-7
Frustration = getting a call from a therapist about the child that hasn't been placed in our home yet (i guess that means that we are still getting the child? would be nice to hear that from the foster agency)
Thankful = our family has had extra time to reconnect and calm down before the placement happens
Sadness = my three year old crawling in my bed in the morning crying because he threw up in his bed and then proceeding to throw up two more times
Thrilled = he can tell me he needs to throw up now
Annoying = doctor calling to say you need to repeat a test, but saying in the same sentence, "don't worry nothing is abnormal." (then why do I need to repeat the test???)
Happiness = a three year old who will tolerate doing crafts that his mom wants to do
*** We are well aware that when talking about a foster placement it sounds like we are buying a chair or something, but I promise we don't think of it like that. It's just that we have to talk in such clinical/general terms it's hard to make it sound personal. We already adore this little boy and pray that we will get to accept him into our home soon!

We are certainly praying that your new son will join you soon - and that you will only have to "sit" on him once in awhile :-)
Love, Mom and the Dad
I can't imagine how you must feel...lots of praying is going on for you. And, really hope Tristan is feeling better! Love the Halloween things you all are doing. Where's one for your Dad, Tristan? Love, Rosalee
