This Man!

Today is going to be Krista brags about her hubby day.
Hopefully this post doesn't sound arrogant but I have to tell you about my amazing husband, because he never will!
Starting with the obvious- he's an amazing, faithful father and husband!
But I want to tell you about his career.
I had a realization the other day.
Time to stop questioning God about why decisions are so hard and start thanking him that we have decisions to make!
Side note: I just asked permission to disclose career info and I was told by said amazing hubby that I can't say all I want to say due to confidentiality : )!
So this post is going to sound general and weird, but hopefully it still expresses how proud I am of the hubby.
So awhile back Michael was pretty much offered a job in Vancouver, Canada.
Then a couple days later he was told by someone else they'd love to work with him as well.
So we visited Vancouver, we loved Vancouver.
Then we came back to L.A. and we loved L.A.
After much discussion and prayer we felt God was leading us to stay in L.A. for many reasons, even though we LOVED Vancouver.
We cried.
Ok, ok I cried.
Then Michael turned down the Vancouver opportunity because the timing isn't right for him.
Sorry family : (
And he may have been told they will possibly hold the position for him until the timing is right, but I wouldn't know because that's confidential.
All the while his former boss has continuously been offering him a job at his new company.
Never gonna happen, but still flattering.
Bottom line: I'm so proud of how wonderful Michael is at building relationships and developing respect from those he crosses paths with in his career.
Now instead of questioning God I'm trying to thank Him for blessing me with such an amazingly talented husband who makes us crazy with decisions because so many people want to work with him!
And lastly, we're staying in L.A., for now ; )

You brag away, girl! I can't help but remember a cute little boy that forgot his coat for one Christmas weekend; or how he made a gingerbread house on one of the first Christmas weekends or thinking it was great fun to "break into the chicken commission!" He grew up, oh, how, he grew up. Proud of my other red-head! You both are a wonderful next generation. Love, FA

Michael is a wonderful husband, father, and son-in-law. I'm so glad you bragged about him because he is deserving. I love the picture of the two of them. Great smiles. Yes, we are sad that you aren't moving to Vancouver as of right now, but that doesn't stop us hoping for a future time.

Love, Mom S.
