Pancakes

I'm a little obsessed with baking blogs and now pinning their recipes to my Pinterest baking board.
Whenever I have leftovers of an ingredient like buttermilk I'm always searching through new recipes to use up that ingredient.
Let's just say the peoples at Michael's work are well fed!
When my older child decided to get up this morning at 6:45am I was not impressed.
But it did leave me plenty of time to get up and cook these amazing pancakes before school.

You can find the recipe for Cinnamon Streusel Pancakes here.
As she says, they are definitely a once a year treat.
They are decadent, super fluffy and really filling- yet somehow Tristan and our new little one were begging for more.
Michael and I both thought the pancakes without the Cinnamon Streusel would be an awesome standard pancake recipe.
Not the best composed photo, but enjoying the pancakes nonetheless.

The eating picture is wonderful -- no doubt that what was coming into his mouth was going to taste really good! Streusel pancake - can't quite get my mind around it; was it really sweet? Rosalee
