Ash Wednesday

Michael was out of town last week (plus the service was too late) so we didn't go up to church for Ash Wednesday.
Thankfully we can stream it!  Tristan really wanted to watch church and so did his lego guys.
He absolutely loves the music.  And he is really sad our worship leader TJ is leaving (so are we) : (
Then we listened to the sermon (so did the lego guys).  Pastor Mark mentioned we were all going to die.
That lead to some serious discussion about who (mom/dad/tristan) was dying first, where they were going, and how you get there.  Apparently Daddy and Tristan will die together and I'll be left behind : (

Discussion face.
Then Mark mentioned that Cain killed Abel.  BIG shock to Tristan.
No joke, head whipped around, open mouth, shock.  "Cain killed his brother?"
We discussed that for a bit and then mom decided it was bedtime : ) Welcome to Lent.

I'm with Joy, especially that discussion face. You can totally read earnest, questioning, and engaged. Bummer about TJ!

Krista - I love the fact that the lego men were lying down listening to the sermon!!!!!!!!!! Lots of adults would love to be able to do that, too.
