So Tristan obviously enjoys his bouncy chair as I've mentioned before, but now he's taken to talking and smiling at the animals which cracks me up. At least it keeps him entertained while I try to make dinner. The other one is him trying to sleep while Michael tries to burp, the two just don't go together. Tristan visited the doctor today, which he didn't really enjoy. He had to have a little abscess drained and get some more immunizations. He spent most of the visit screaming! But as soon as he hit the car seat he fell asleep. He weighs 12 pounds 13 oz which is still in the 0 percentile for 6 months, but the doctor is happy with his weight. His height is 24 1/4 inches which is in the fifth percentile and his head is in the 30th percentile! We also get to start him on solid foods. Although his corrected age is only 3 months he's been on a bottle for much longer than 3 months so the doctor is afraid he won't take the spoon if we wait too long. I'm really excited about that! Our nanny starts tomorrow, which I'm excited/nervous about. That also means I'm going back to work the next week, which I am obviously sad about. I've really enjoyed these last 6 weeks with him because he has been so active. Now I feel like I'm going to miss so much!
