Tristan is working on pushing up with his arms! He used to just lift up his head and turn it, but now he lifts up his whole chest and looks straight ahead. The funny part is that he is supposed to use his arms to help the process, but he is barely figuring that out. He much prefers just lifting up his chest with no hands. It cracks me up that it's like clockwork the way babies progress. One day they aren't doing grabbing or pushing or whatever and overnight they are suddenly doing it, right on schedule. Or Tristan one night Tristan gets up at 3 am and the next night he sleeps 8 hours straight and hasn't stopped since. We're still convinced he's going to revert back to getting up in the middle of the night. I don't think I mentioned that Tristan was able to go off his monitor during the day. We only have to put it on when he is sleeping at night. That's been such a relief. The bad news is that the doctor is worried about him getting a cold and not breathing well, so we are stuck with the monitor through the winter which probably means January or something. Yuck!
