Well, this is my last set of photos for the week, but I had a pretty good run! More after the weekend because we have friends in town and a party for Tristan. I thought the photo of him sleeping was funny because I put him down and he didn't move an inch. We are trying to work with him on some new skills that he should have developed at this point. It's the first time that he seems to be a little slower, but that's ok it's normal for preemies. He's still working on holding his head up and now we're trying to get him to grasp toys. He should have been interested in his hands by now and be trying to grasp things but we're having trouble with that. He has just started looking at his hands a bit and putting them in his mouth. Although we can kind of coax him into holding toys for a few seconds he really has no idea what he is doing so drops them. Hopefully soon he will realize what his hands do and be able to pick things up.

Great pictures, we really appreciate all the variety of pix and news these last few days. That zonking out in odd positions must be an inherited trait, I think I may have experienced it.
The hand grasping is interesting. He did well with the finger holding reflex, as I recall, so he's just taking his time with this one. I'm sure it will seem quite fast from the current stage to grasping and throwing for you to pick up!

Thanks for all of the fun pictures. It is sooo wonderful to see those since I can't just drive over to the apartment every few days!

Hey Kids,
I found some baby pictures of Val and Tristan even looks like some of his pictures....those cute, chubby cheeks may be way over six feet off the ground some day! Way too cute!
