For those who haven't heard the phrase, the time when a preemie is first born and does great for the first few days is called the honeymoon. Well, the last few days have felt like Tristan's second honeymoon! This morning at 6am, he was taken off the CPAP and put on a nasal cannula, the two prong device you see regularly at hospitals. This is the least help that he can have with his breathing, and it's only providing pressure, no extra oxygen. He did great all day, and even woke up and watched us for a bit while we were there tonight - and got real fussy and made it difficult for Dad to change his diaper. Thanks, son. He lays still for Krista when it's her turn, then kicks his legs all over for me. I'm sure the other Dads can relate... He has a follow-up head ultrasound to check for bleeding near his brain tomorrow, so please pray for that.

Michael & Krista,
Thank you for sharing the news on Tristan (thank you Aunt Kaaryn for giving me the website. Tristan is adorable. I am praying for him and his little neighbor. You are feeling a love right now that is really undescribable! These little gifts from God really tug at our heart strings. You are doing a great job. Keep trusting!
Love, Mary Fore
