Tristan gave us a good visit today. He had his ventilator taken out today because the antibiotics seem to be doing the trick (and a few prayers, too), and is back on the Vapotherm. He seemed really comfortable but was moving around and reacting to touch. His weight has gone up a little more, and comparing the pictures from tonight to those from a month ago, he is starting to look much more like a little baby instead of a tiny preemie. On a side note, it is pretty overwhelming how many people are reading this and supporting us. Washington to Pittsburgh to Virginia to Brazil to right here in Los Angeles - it's really amazing, and we thank you all for your continued prayers.

I think I finally got this thing figured out. What a good picture of such a cute boy! We United Methodists in Des Moines are holding you all in our hearts and prayers. Much better news this evening.....wonderful.
Dear Tristan,
I am from Hebron Presbyterian Church in Pgh, Pa. You are so beautiful and you look like a fighter to me. You, and your family are in our prayers. I am putting your picture on my fridge so I see you every day. God is awesome and nothing is to big, or in your case to small, for him to handle. You are a miracle already.
Hallelujah!
Mom and the dad
It's so good to see his little eyes open! You are both in my prayers everyday!

Michael and Kristin,
Mike and Diane Powell (my mom and dad) wanted me to let you know that they are praying daily. My mom doesn't have email but is calling me several times a week to get the update. I check daily and every time I do....I pray. Hang in there. Add Idaho and Texas to the list of states w/ people praying :).
