No change today, so this is all about yesterday. He was put back on the CPAP because he kept having spells - a nice way to say he kept forgetting to breathe. Once on the CPAP, though, he did great, and still is. We got there late last night because of Bible study, and the nurse (who's hands you see here) said we could help give him a bath since he was doing so well. I pretty much took pictures while Krista did all the work, but it was very cool. The best part was that other than the CPAP, everything else was taken off him. This meant we got to see him for the first time without a bunch of stuff all over him. The nurse kept repeating, "And notice his color is still really good, so he's doing just fine," because she knew we inexperienced parents get all freaked out when there are no numbers on the monitor to back up her statements that he was OK. He was really feisty at first, and even showed his limberness and frustration with the whole experience by kicking himself in the face, something his Dad definitely cannot do. Overall, a great way to spend an evening at the hospital :)

Great pictures. Thank you for sharing his bath story. Now you know what your goal can be for stretching and flexibility - foot to face! Talented baby!
Love, Mom and the Dad
What a fun way to start a day. Your comment about Tristan kicking himself in the face made me laugh, and provided more info. for my curious staff.
Love all 3 of you! Mom S.
i, like the moms, enjoy the part about tristan kicking himself in the face. also, i enjoy how it looks like his diaper is covering 3/4 of his body. he is so cute!
Great story.. hard to picture those little frog legs kicking around, but pretty funny stuff! I also noticed that his legs are about the same size around as the nurse's index finger. What a teeny tiny guy!
