One step forward, one step back. He moved from the ventilator to the nasal CPAP a few days ago, which went fine. Today, they tried moving him to the smaller 2-prong nose thing (medical name forgotten by us), but that only lasted about 2 hours before he got tired and had to be put back on the CPAP, which is the large thing you see here. They said he was probably still tired from fighting the infection, so we'll just wait awhile longer to try again. He was also being fussy again, also a sign of fatigue, so they made sure he was pretty tightly held (also as seen here) which feels as close to the womb as he can get, calming him down.

Day 7
