Ikea

Because the home prices in L.A. are so outrageously expensive we've been working on making the best with what we have!  One way is to arrange/decorate our apartment the way we want it and the other is to live the life we want to live (i.e. invest in some beach supplies and a bbq and spend a lot of time outside!)  Anyway that meant a trip to Ikea last weekend to finish up our list of what we need to function at our best in the apartment.  As you can see Tristan made himself right at home.

In fact he sat here for at least 15 minutes having phone conversations and typing on the computer.  Doesn't he look so serious?

By the time we reached the kitchen area he was a little bored...

We might be getting rid of our microwave to help with counter space, crazy right?  We're well aware that we are now going to be the microwave free, organic, flexitarian weirdos in SoCal : )  Michael did have fun looking at the online discussions about living microwave free!  Who knew the most common complaint is how to reheat your coffee? Ummm, yuck.  Coffee is only good fresh people!

He got his $1 frozen yogurt at the end for behaving so well.  

Another reason you should visit us in So Cal- soon we will have some new furniture, beach stuff and a bbq- enticing right?
