It's been a long, long week that went by very fast- if that makes any sense.
I like things organized and planned in advance. So this week started off wrong because the week before when on vacation we found out we had the opportunity to take a CPR/First Aid class for half the time and 1/4 of the money through our Foster Agency instead of the the Red Cross. That meant I had to get out of volunteering and get a babysitter. My lovely volunteering boss let me off and my lovely sister in law came up to hang out with Tristan! (P.S. He hates the word babysit because he says he's not a baby anymore)
JJ can walk now. This is Michael trying to get him to prove it! He's in the normal new walker phase of not wanting to actually take steps even though he can.
We are moving this weekend... That obviously is contributing to the long/fast part of my week! Seems like the new apartment being ready is taking forever but the time to pack/clean is going away too fast.

This is the pile of stuff we've already amassed for a garage sale. How could we possibly have so much stuff stored in a two bedroom apt?

Look below for how we've finally figured out white balance. I'm 99% sure that Val taught us about white balance when we first got the camera in November. Apparently that info did not stay in our brains. I've spent that last 8 months complaining about how yellow my photos in our apartment are, well if you adjust the white balance they aren't. Thank you Kaaryn for reteaching me about white balance in Tahoe!

This is also what it looks like to cook during a long/fast week in a 90 degree kitchen.

When it's 90 degrees (or 116 in the Valley) you go to the beach. Except, if you go on Friday, even though the weather has been hot all week, it's foggy and cold that day. We had fun anyway because what's better than playtime for the boys and talk time for the moms?
And that is what it's like to eat a "pizza taco" (really just eating pizza like a New Yorker) at our fave L.A. pizza place.
Along with the beach and pizza Tristan visited the doctor today. If there's a medical issue out there your toddler could have Tristan will have it. He has rashy/cold sore type stuff around his mouth (as seen in above box photos). Turns out it can be caused by citrus or MRSA or a million other things and now we get to put medication on it for a week. Luckily it's not contagious and should go away quickly. We definitely don't want him to miss his last day of school on Tuesday!
Tristan ate 1/8 of a chicken breast the other night without even complaining. Just thought you should know.

Wow! What a week you have had! The pictures are great. If you have that much stuff for a garage sale we will have to have 27 garage sales if and when we move!!! We hope Tristan's whatever clears up quickly!

Me, too about the garage sale. Be sure you don't sell Tristan in one of those boxes!
Could be an allergy. By the way, I have a mouth sensitivity to citrus and cinnamon. When I eat too much cinnamon I get cold sores, and a rash with oranges or apples. Since I usually have one of those for lunch, I have to wash around my mouth after eating, or it gets me every time.

More happy inheritances.
and thanks for teaching me about changing the exposure settings :)
Whew! The made me tired just reading about it! Guess the honeymoon is finally over, huh!! I was about to say don't sell Tristan in one of the boxes and then saw what Tony wrote! Guess we all think the same thing. Hope next week is a little calmer for you all. Love, Rosalee
