What's more L.A. than cars and the beach? How about both of them together??? As Krista mentioned, we were forced to buy a new vehicle, and we embraced our family-ness and went with a wagon (Hyundai Elantra Touring). Is this the next step towards a van? I certainly hope not... The only downside is the weather continues to be weird, which means I was actually freezing and Tristan ended up in a jacket with his sandals. Thank goodness for Starbucks :) We did have a breakthrough in gaming this week. We succeeded in getting Tristan to play Candy Land by the actual rules! No game has finished because he gets sidetracked by things like smacking the guys around instead of continuing, but while it lasts it is true gameplay. Family game night is so close!

Your car at the beach picture could be in a magazine ad, or maybe a billboard! What a great looking vehicle, and I'm certainly glad to see Tristan getting in the spirit of Cook family road trips. Sorry about the Vue, but this one looks like more than a worthy successor. Be careful out there!
