Science Center

We visited the Science Center in Los Angeles with Grandma. The best part is that it's free! Tristan was having an excellent time running around and pressing all the buttons. He didn't stay around long enough to see what any of the buttons did, but hey at least he was having fun. He was also obsessed with lifting the truck- he really didn't want to go in the science center, just try to lift the truck. There is a rose garden and fountain next to the science center that we also ran around in for a little while. We had to pry Tristan away from the fountain to look at the flowers- but he had fun running through the grass once we did that. We've also visited the beach and the outlet stores for a little spoiling from Grandma. Next up a visit from Aunt Allison and Uncle Joshua : ) That means Tristan gets another visit to Disneyland, which he is very excited about.

We are also very excited to announce that our funding was actually approved for Tristan's school until he is 3 years old when he is discharged! This gives us a chance to save money for preschool, which is a blessing. He is going to meet with a speech therapist soon for an evaluation to see if he needs some help. Over the past few weeks he's been becoming more creative with coloring and drawing- always making up stories about what has been drawn or what he's playing with. He's also been a typical two and half year old throwing tons of tantrums and throwing toys when he's frustrated. We're making it though and we're finally able to fathom having another child!
