Today was our second trip to Disneyland and I think I'm done for awhile! Tristan enjoyed it a lot and remembered all the rides he wanted to go on as well as who he needed to see (ex. Mickey and Goofy). He even got to see a few new rides that he hadn't been on like the Nemo Submarine (scared the heck out of him) and the Tiki Room. Sometimes I wonder if Disney considers young kids when making things like the sub ride. I mean it should be toddler friendly but right after the sharks a volcano erupts really loudly and "lava" flows out the windows. Tristan jumped about a mile and insisted upon laying on my chest the rest of the ride so I could protect him. It was just something I didn't find that necessary in the grand scheme of the ride. And after we waited for a picture with Mickey he of course wasn't looking anywhere near the camera. I suppose you can never have enough photos of your kid not looking or smiling when you want him to. He did insist upon taking his Mickey hat and wearing it, so that was cute. Overall- a great day.
