Tests, Tests, and More Tests

Tristan had his MRI yesterday and it went well. The preliminary report says that everything is fine. Last night he had the car seat test to make sure he can sit in a car seat w/o having apnea or heart rate dropping. He was given a lavendar bath ; ) right before, so the nurse said he fell right asleep. We were there for part of the test and literally there was no movement out of the kid, so now we know what to do to get him to sleep at home! He passed that test with flying colors. Tristan also had a hearing test, which we forgot to ask about but assume he did fine since no one said anything to us (more on that tomorrow). This afternoon he survived his circumsision. So we have the brazelton (OT) test and the 12 hour test, that monitors his heart rate and breathing, left to complete before he comes home. The last two tests he can't have until the feeding tube is out. We are slowly inching to that point, but he had to have sedation for his MRI which pretty much put him out of commission all day yesterday. This morning he took his full feed so hopefully he has continued on that path throughout the whole day, we'll see tonight. Fingers crossed we're looking at the weekend for coming home.

Meant to ask - what's with a lavender bath? Sounds like something I'd like!!
