Peacefully Sleeping

Today when I went into feed Tristan I found out that he had done 6 bottle feeds in a row! Tonight we'll find out if he could do two more to complete the eight. It may be tough because at 9am he was pretty tired and struggled to make it through the whole feed. He fell right asleep afterward and didn't even move when I put him back in the crib. We'll be bringing in his car seat in the next day or two so they can test for an hour how he does while sitting in that. They measure his heart rate and breathing to see if he's ok to be in the car seat w/o a monitor. Fingers crossed, near the end of this week if he has completed his feeds for a couple days they will do a 12 hour test where they monitor his heart and breathing and evaluate the print out for those 12 hours to see if he needs to come home on a monitor. Another thing we have to look forward to is the Occupational Therapist evaluating him to see what he will need to work on physically. It's crazy to actually be talking about all the upcoming things we will need to do to get him home! And yes, Kelly he still loves his lavendar wash. Every couple days I smell the lavendar in his hair, yummy clean baby smell!

Oh my, how close you are! What a lovely, sleeping picture that is -- you will have such fun as the days go by. You are being lifted by so many people! Just yesterday people were asking me how things are going. Much love and many prayers!

Krista and Michael,
You are getting close. It all sounds just like what we did. Emily was havig Brady's up until we took her home. She had to go for 5 days without one before they would release her. I remember going to see her and turning the chair so that my back was to the monitor. Every change in numbers (even one or two) I paniced!! Remeber if he comes home on a monitor it is not so bad. You will sleep much better and worry much less about him!! I hope the next few days go very fast for you!!
