Slow Progress

Well Tristan has decided to do things at his own VERY slow pace. He just doesn't want to feed because it makes him tired, so we still haven't made it back to 8 feeds in a row since the MRI. As a result he hasn't had his two upcoming tests. Mom and dad are about to go crazy, but it's better for him to stay longer and figure things out than come home and have to go back. He did pass his hearing test and I forgot to mention the other day that his eyes are completely healed and 100% better. We will plug along through the weekend and hope that he keeps up eating all of his feeds- we're aiming for 48 hours of all bottle feeds to get the tube out. Weight Update: 8lbs 10oz. Yikes!

We think our grandson is going for his first world's record: largest (and cutest) baby in a NICU!!!

Wow! I've been telling people almost 8 pounds, guess I need to change that information. He is definitely cute, and I can't wait to hold him for the first time.
