Our 12th anniversary was this weekend and my husband may have been out of town at another wedding celebration.
I celebrated alone by drinking a glass of wine and watching Project Runway.
He beyond made up for being gone by taking Monday off of work to spend time with the family.
If you could understand the magnitude of that, in his world, at this time you would understand that I thanked him with tears running down my face for spending the day with me.
Before I delve into our day I give you two photos in my regular series,
Michael working while not at work!

Michael working while at his cousins wedding.
Thank you father in law for getting in on the fun!
And yes, I give you, Michael working while at our anniversary dinner : )
Luckily my hubby is really special and I know he would never pull out his phone at dinner if he didn't HAVE to, so I forgive him!
He actually asked me to go to the bathroom so I wouldn't know he was answering an email ;)
So back to the day.
It was really special because he planned everything without uttering a word to me about it!
He took me to Batman in the morning.
All I can say is, Unbelievably Amazing!
Then we had some time with the in laws and kids.
Next up dinner and another movie!
I've decided it was like being back in our twenties when we would just go to two movies in a day without a care!
We went to a local restaurant for dinner that's been on my list for a long time.
It's Meatless Monday so I joined the revolution and had a really yummy chile stuffed with cheese.
Obviously we demolished the dessert before I got a photo, it was something with Peanut Butter and Chocolate!
And yes, for our second movie we were very hip 30 somethings and saw Step Up Revolution!
Really we're kind of nerdy and just really love Twitch.
Us and the 12 year old boys in the theatre really enjoyed the dancing.
I left the theatre with a big smile which was really the goal of the day.
Blissful happiness after celebrating an amazing 12 years of marriage!

I cannot believe it's been 12 years - lots of experiences for everyone, for sure since then. The rehearsal dinner and wedding bring back lots of good memories. You both are very special to me - wonderful parents, good friends, and live your faith! Nothing better! Love, Rosalee
Glad the day went well. It was fun to watch Michael plan it. Smart phones can be a pain and a great help, all at the same time.
Happy Anniversary!
Love, Mom and the Dad
Happy Anniversary!
It's been a long time since we could go watch 2 movies in one month, let alone 2 movies in one day. Glad you could enjoy it.
