We got an amazing surprise in the mail today.
Many of you may not know what that blurry image is- but it's a dvd from Uncle Brian! He started a great program on the ship where he got books and shipping supplies donated so the navy guys and girls can make dvd's of themselves reading books and mail them home to their kids! We never expected to receive one in the mail and let me tell you it threw Tristan for a loop. He was a little surprised that Uncle Brian was talking to him from the TV but after about 10 seconds he was loving it! I think we may have watched it 40 times if it was up to T but we capped it at twice for tonight!
And below is a surprise for you! The PT suggested I video Tristan doing some jumping and other things so he could watch them at home with us to build confidence. So below are some clips of the things he does with the Physical Therapist!
Today Tristan did something so amazing to a parent! He got so frustrated that he couldn't get Michael's backpack on by himself- he even started to cry. So I gave him a hug and said, "You know when you can't do something you can always ask for help" Instead he stopped crying, looked at me and said, "No, you know what? I'll try again!" And then he did it all by himself- love when kids solve problems on their own!
Michael took Tristan on a walk today- looking so old and cute! I actually didn't realize it was him because the hipstamatic app made his hair look a crazy color!
And below is my new haircut. I thought you should all see it now while it looks the lovely way my stylist intended it too. I never manage to spend the time making it look that way again- so now you've seen it. The one good thing about paying a bunch for a haircut is that you get a head massage- best 10 minutes in the past year!
Also- I keep forgetting to mention. As of this week we are officially fost/adopt certified-yay! Hopefully we will receive a child soon.

Wow! What a post! Great Krista hair. Funny Tristan hair. That was great from Brian and the PT videos were terrific. We love the climbing wall!!! Thanks so much for sharing them!
Heavens! The post was full of great pictures, videos, new hairdos - tristan's color is a bit off, though! The PT videos are wonderful. The stair one makes we want to tell Tristan that he does better at stairs than his Grandma Joy and Auntie Rosie! And the wall - never?! Waaaaay to go Tristan! That was super of Brian to send a video!
