This cutie has a gorgeous new baby sister! We are so excited to meet her!
This is my current favorite spice, mainly because Jamie Oliver makes some great recipes using it.
It's time to make a Gingerbread House! This is our first year trying that out. I made homemade gingerbread and icing- which was fun for me!
Tristan got to decorate with a bunch of candies.
We had one mishap where the roof fell off because he pushed to hard, but I solved that by re-gluing it and putting Tristan down for a nap! That way it had plenty of time to dry before he tried to decorate again.
Adding "snow" to the top of the house.
The final product. He was most concerned about having a gingerbread man to go in the house. I just wanted it to look pretty- which was clearly a dream considering that gingerbread houses are ridiculously messy and impossible to make look pretty unless you are a professional baker and don't have a 3 year old decorating!
Now that Tristan's cold is gone- he has a nasty ear infection. We've never experienced a bad ear infection and we never want to again! He was up pretty much all night on Saturday screaming about his ear. We sat for a few hours in urgent care on Sunday to get a prescription for antibiotics which of course the pharmacy couldn't fill! Luckily we got it yesterday, saw the regular doctor today, and he finally seems to be doing a little better. The sleeping has been going well, but he does complain constantly about his ear hurting : ( It makes a parent feel helpless to say the least.

Tristan, ask your Dad about his gingerbread-making weekend at my place when he was a little boy! Followed by a root beer Tin Roof ice cream float! Cute pictures - patient Mom. FA
