Pretending to Sleep-**Updated

Tristan took this photo - nice use of the rule of thirds

Who doesn't love a pink Barbie car?

We're having a lot of trouble with napping lately.  Tristan is supposed to stay on his bed laying quietly, which is a big struggle.  Today I thought he had finally fell asleep when I hear a man's voice coming from his bedroom, yikes!  I jumped up and realized it was the Husky dog that my dad recorded his voice into, which means he was out of bed.  He must have heard me coming because I saw him jump onto his bed and by the time I was in his door he was laying on the pillow with his eyes squeezed closed!  I never laughed so hard in my life!  He's already learning how to pretend sleep : )  He's also started to read us and himself books, which is fun.  He has enough of most books memorized that he can "read" each page to us.  He's really into letters right now (as a result of Word World and Super Why?) so every building, sign, paper, etc we pass he has to spell every letter out loud- it's really fun!  Maybe he will read early :)  And a statistic I read today that applies to my daily life, " A University of Michigan study found that preschoolers ask info-seeking questions such as "Why? and "How?" at the mom-boggling average rate of 76 an hour."

**Praise God- my blood test this week (after a month of not having them) was still negative!  I will now wait until the 3 month mark before I go back, woo hoo!
