Today

If Tristan gets up before I'm ready to start getting him ready for the day I always send him in to lay with Michael. This morning he was carrying on a whole conversation with daddy while Michael slept, so funny! Now we have Kai over and I thought they were too cute eating lunch together. Everytime he's over Tristan wants to eat whatever he gets for lunch- so Kai ends up sharing everything. Today was great though because Kai was actually talking to Tristan a lot, which threw Tristan off a little bit. He's used to trying to get Kai's attention and when Kai kept wanting to play with Tristan's stuff- he wasn't too excited. I thought it was great though, because for once he didn't get to be the one in charge of everything! Tonight Tristan gets to spend the night at Jack's house for the first time ever. We are very excited for our night out, but I'm interested to see how he will respond to going to bed without mom and dad around. He seems to understand that he's doing that, but in the moment you never know how kids will react. I'm sure he will have a great time with Jack. Tomorrow we are heading down to San Diego to see the Harris family. We are very excited to see how JJ has grown and maybe give mom and dad a break.
