We finally got around to carving the pumpkin we got in San Diego. Tristan and I scooped out all the seeds together, then Tristan and Michael mapped out what the eyes, nose, and mouth should look like. I carved everything and Tristan would take out each piece as it I got done. He was fascinated by how it looked lit up after we put the candle in it. We put it on our bookshelf and this morning he was already looking to check out his pumpkin.

Looking at the pumpkin pictures is such a joy! You are wonderful parents to provide him so many great activities. The last pumpkin picture with him holding the pumpkin and seeing the delight on his face makes me so want to be there to experience the joy with him.

those tatoos will be real someday!!
What a look of absolute delight (and I didn't know that Joy had said the exact same thing - it's what I thought when I saw the picture.) How fun! He's growing so fast - savor the moments!

Your mom's comment about wanting to be there to experience the event and see the joy on his face . . . Priceless (I totally agree).
