So the other day I finally started letting Tristan look at his hardcover/paper page books. And low and behold I found this great collection of books that Grandma and Grandpa Cook gave us when Tristan came home. Now if I'd looked closer I would have realized that it had stories for young kids- not just older kids. But that's ok he still enjoys them now. His teacher often reads him the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom at school and I've been meaning to buy it. Surprise, I open this story collection and there it is, yay! Anyway we've been having fun reading all the stories in it and remembering all the books I liked when I was little- Miss Nelson is Missing? or The Snowy Day anyone?

Tristan has fully transitioned into his new Bears class and it was no big deal, woo hoo! I dropped him off yesterday and not a peep out of him, just off to play. Same thing today- so I'd say he's getting a little more mature! We'll see how sunday school goes this weekend. Today was also our big interview at the school. I was worried that he wouldn't behave well during the interview, but he did ok. First he sat for awhile then he started wandering which led to a lot of noise playing with the toy kitchen, poor audio guy! We got asked similar questions to the first time- this time we were more prepared though. The lady interviewing us doesn't have much of an expressive personality so we did have a really difficult time reading if we were answering appropriately for what they wanted. Hopefully we eventually get to see a copy of the video to see if we even made it in. The funniest part for us was watching them film Tristan. He was wandering the room playing and three people- camera, sound, and cord wrangler were running after him. Michael and I were cracking up- a little glimpse into the world of Hollywood.

The Cook Thespians! It has a nice ring to it. How do we get to see the video?
Tristan is amazing, to say the very least! FGA

I love Miss Nelson is Missing! How fun is it to discover a whole box of unread books?
