Getting Older

We finally got our SLR camera so we are having fun using that outdoors. In our apartment the lighting is so bad it doesn't matter if you use a regular camera or SLR as far as quality so it's an outdoor camera for now. Tristan had a great time playing baseball and doing bubbles while we took photos!

Today was the first day that he had underwear on all day (even outside) and didn't go to the bathroom in them. We put on a diaper during sleep time but the rest of the day he managed to use the toilet. I'm still having to ask him every time but at least he is holding it in until we ask. Really excited about that! Emma told me that she thought our crib converted into a bed and turns out it does! We were happy about that since we've been considering buying a bed for awhile now and were planning to wait until Christmas. So today Michael converted it into a "daybed". We got it from friends so it's a little older which means not as fancy as they are now, but it works great! Free is the best price for anything. Luckily tonight Tristan just laid down and went to sleep- no attempts at getting out. We shall see if that continues. He hates having his door closed at night so if need be we'll tell him that we will close it if he doesn't stay in bed. Tomorrow is our first try at Sunday School so hopefully that goes as well as everything else has this week.
