Tristan Update
So I came in this morning and Tristan is doing great. He is off the oxygen mask and onto just a nasal cannula which is scheduled to be removed about 12pm today. He still has a little congestion and cough- but mostly to clear out the junk in his lungs/throat. He is definitely hard to handle, because he does not want to sit on my lap or in the crib. He would like to be walking around all over. The next step is moving to the Pediatric floor and then getting discharged. We're crossing our fingers that he will get transferred today and go home tomorrow. At the hospital they make sure that the kid is completely well- not just getting over the cold! As soon as we move to the pediatric floor we will start talking to the specialists about what comes next. And to answer Kar the nurses do love him. Especially now that he will play with them. Even his doctor read him a book today. And we have the usual parade of nurses who have taken care of him on other days coming in to say hi and see how he is.

Just talked to Joy....am glad to know the progress and that things are improving. There are a bunch of Methodists in Des Moines praying for you all! Toddlers reign supreme!
