Tristan Update #3
Tristan is doing much better by our determination. He is still on breathing treatments and oxygen, but he was very active this afternoon, seems to be breathing easier and wasn't coughing as much. We were very excited to talk to a Pulmonologist today who is very aggressive in what he wants to do to treat Tristan. He was disappointed that the NICU or our Pediatrician hadn't ever referred us to one because of Tristan's history on the ventilator and his breathing problems. When we get discharged we plan to meet with him and get a camera down Tristan's throat so he can see what is going on and how we will treat this problem so we don't continue to have to go to the hospital. He also feels that Tristan has asthma which will be treated as well. We are very thankful and to have someone finally be straightforward and aggressive in how to solve these breathing problems for the future. We're hoping that this hospital stay is the catalyst for solving his breathing struggles. Thanks for the prayers.

We are glad to hear things are improving for Tristan.
Take care of yourselves as well.
Our prayers are with you and your family,
Aunt Deb and Uncle Gordy
Good news that Tristan is getting better. I am so glad that you have connected with a specialist. Pediatric pulmonologist is quite a mouthful, but we are glad there is one to help Tristan - and you two -cope with these bouts!!!
Love, Mom and the Dad
We're praying for you guys! It's great that you finally connected with a doctor who sounds like he knows what he's talking about... that makes a huge difference. Hang in there.
Having a specialist on the case makes life a whole lot easier :)I'm sure he was relieved and grateful that you guys are able to give a complete history on Tristan as well. I'm glad he's getting better!
