So we finally need to babyproof our house. Tristan has made it his mission to get into everything he possibly can. In an apartment this is really frustrating since we don't really have anywhere to put anything. He also still isn't eating, except for the avocado he mashed all over his face yesterday. I was babysitting Kai at the time so he knew he could make as big a mess as possible and throw his food all over the floor and I couldn't do much because I had Kai. It's good for me to babysit because he really needs to learn how to be around other kids and share his mom and toys with them. Yesterday he was not behaving well because he was so jealous-but he'll learn. It really opens your eyes to what it would be like having two young kids! Back to eating- he does drink his milk so hopefully that is enough. This morning he did eat his whole breakfast, which is amazing. We think he was probably starving from not eating yesterday. The best news of all is that almost a year after he got out of the hospital we got the final bill!!!!!! His total bill at Torrance Memorial was $1, 025, 983.41. We are blessed to have excellent insurance so we have to only have to pay an extremely small amount of that. We are so glad to finally close that chapter of our lives- it's like a huge weight lifted.

Tristan is really the true "Million Dollar Baby" - and worth every penny!!!
Love, Mom and the Dad
Wow! I am amazed by that bill. Thank goodness for good insurance for sure!
Babies go through such funny stages. Not eating does not sound like a fun one, but I am sure he'll get over it eventually. Good luck!
mom is going to have learn to share him when uncle willie and auntie kar come to visit :)
Michael, thank you for keeping us all informed on Tristan's development. We knew you would be an incredible Dad!

Just saw/read the new photos -- having struggles with eating seems like a small bump in the road compared to where you have been this past year! The eating thing will change and then watch out! He'll be walking and eating all the time. The bill? What's a few dollars when he's so darned cute!
