Kar wanted to visit the beach on our one day with no plans. Tristan has never been to the beach while he's able to comprehend what's going on. I think we took him twice when he 5-6 months old. He was a bit scared of the waves, but loved the sand. He liked it enough to eat more than one handful. It's really hard trying to tell a baby not to eat sand. Tristan also enjoyed watching the birds and planes fly by. His version of pointing right now is extending his wide open hand in the air (like, praise jesus!) He only "points" at things above him, like planes, the ceiling fan and roller coasters. Our visit to Six Flags should be up tomorrow.

His mother loved eating sand too, so he comes by it naturally. Thanks for posting so many pictures.

Sand is nothing to compared to some things some of Tristan's ancestry ate! A day at the beach -- way fun and cute!
