I'm not sure everyone is as excited as me that I finally got on the instagram bandwagon!
But hey, it's handy for photos on the go.
EA sent us up to Seattle for our "familiarization trip".
Tristan continues to tour some of the nicest hotels in big cities.
His standards for our vacations are going to be a bit hard to match!
The view of the city from the park at the bottom of the hill we will soon live on (i.e. Gasworks).
A few of our food destinations.
Rest assured we visited two Tom Douglas restaurants as well.
Sad to say, didn't love his pizza.
Did love his burgers and beer.
Beecher's Grilled Cheese- to die for.
Revel's BBQ Pork, Pickled Jalapeno, Spicy Maple Syrup Monkey Bread-amazing.
Californians, if you come to visit we'll take you to brunch at Revel- it's worth it!
And Poppy's 7 item thali- unique and tasty.
Tristan's new school (hopefully)- John Stanford International School.
Our new home in Wallingford.
And the new babies.
We've felt led by God this whole process and he kept leading right through this trip.
The homes we looked at with our EA housing lady just weren't right for us.
Unfortunately our school boundary demands make the selection extremely limited.
We ended Saturday disappointed and a bit worried.
Sunday a friend of a friend of M's family had a house for us to look at.
And thankfully God/Sue really delivered.
The house is great, rent is low, and it's in the neighborhood of the immersion school!
Plus a really sweet older couple owns it.
We visited them Monday and they gave Tristan a bag of chocolates to take home : )
We are so excited that the neighborhood is full of families with kids similar to Tristan's age.
And isn't it sweet that the family moving out of the house is emailing us with info about the school?
Thankfully they are just moving down the street and want to take us around to introduce us to all the neighbors!
Praying everything is as wonderful as it seems!
The only thing that could be problematic is the school registration.
All should be well, but the school is pretty full and they weren't too keen on us attending.
The district says we're good.
Once we actually register, we shall see how that plays out.
Thankfully it sounds like if they make us to transfer we will be at the other immersion school nearby.
We're blessed that God is always in our corner and know he will put Tristan in whichever school is right for him.
(Or at least that's what I'll tell you. My hubby knows I'm really freaking out with anxiety!)

Krista - Thanks so much for all of the pictures. We will take you up on some of the Seattle restaurant experiences. We certainly can identify with the feelings of being God-led. His arms are definitely around you. (But I do understand your anxiety level!!!)
The house looks great - very, very Wallingford!!!
Love, Joy
Sure looks like all the pieces are falling into place like they are meant to -- God has lots of those moments for you, it seems! I sort of know ever know where the house is after talking with Michael the other night. It's not too far from where Val used to live. Take good care and I hope things continue to go well. Love, Rosalee
