The Tempest Star Wars Style

Sorry, bad cell phone photos ahead!
Here in our lovely little town we have not one but two theatre companies that do free outdoor performances for kids!
This year one of the companies was doing The Tempest: The Star Wars Edition.
We knew Tristan would love it whether he understood the play or not!
Below they are doing the Thriller dance, one of many humorous pop culture references!
Jack Black was in attendance with his family.
Apparently he has been a part of this theatre company.
The cast even managed to get in a Tenacious D reference in honor of him.
Tristan with one of the storm troopers.
The theatre company was founded by Tim Robbins, he was there.
At the end of every performance they pass out popsicles, he was passing some out.
Therefore, Michael made sure to go get his popsicle from Tim Robbins so he could get some face time!
It's been awhile since we've had celeb sightings so there ya go, two in one day.

Well, what a bunch of name droppers you are! How fun, though. Tim Robbins would be one of those folks that I think would be fun to talk to....popsicle or not! Fun for the kids - big and little. Love, FA

Arrgh, I missed a Star Wars play?! Looks like great fun. Tristan was really stylin' with his Batman shirt and that great hat.

I think his haircut place looks better than mine!

Love, Grandpa Tony
