I was on my own for my first two days in London since Michael was working. I tried to make the most of my time, the only annoying part was eating alone! Needless to say I have no exciting food stories for you today : (
I did the obligatory walk through Harrod's and then a walk through the park- the leaves were amazing.
Stopped at Buckingham Palace.
Pretty sure this kid with the assault rifle is 12.The view down the street from the National Gallery. LOVED the National Gallery.
Day two I visited the Natural History Museum.
And the Victoria and Albert Museum.
It's pretty cool- so many different collections to look at.
And because this also happened to be the day of our little one's court date and I was alone I went to the theatre to keep myself occupied.
Billy Elliot was amazing- I sat in between two other American girls that were also there on their own.
I think we all cried many, many times- loved the show!

what a fabulous trip! Your pictures are terrific. Anything in London to compare to the coffee in Spain? Great ale, maybe?
I LOVE London - am glad you liked the National Gallery. They kicked Val and me out because we got in so late it was almost ready to close, so we never did get a good look. The black lions are just the coolest, I think. Isn't that St. James' park? We walked the length of it - it's really cool. We can compare more notes. And, they can keep their ale! Love, FA
