The title pretty much says it all. As the previous post says, we are back from our vacation and getting back into real life. I'd just like to show a few pictures of the cool stuff Krista did to make the travelling enjoyable for everyone.
My Dad was the trip planner growing up, but I did not get that gene. My best vacations are when I get behind the wheel and say, "Where to?" Krista delivered! This is her multi-tasking the atlas and a magazine, though she had actually fallen asleep at the time so I could take the picture :)
This is a map Krista made for Tristan of things to watch for on the road as we traveled. Once we got to Glacier and he'd found them all, he got a prize. We did make the mistake somewhere in Idaho of telling him there was a prize, which just changed "Are we there yet?" to "When do I get my prize?"
This one is tough to see, but Krista put a string of locations across the ceiling with velcro. As we made it to certain places, Tristan got to move the car along our journey. This is the end of Day 2 as we arrived at the National Park after going through Helena.
As you can see, Krista put a lot of time and effort into making our vacation amazing. The Cook boys are so blessed to have her as a wife and Mom. She doesn't really like public recognition, so just keep this quiet ;)

Good heavens! Krista, your creative is beyond belief! The roof trip is the coolest. Glad you had such a good time. Love, FA
Awe!!! After receiving an email from "Edible Seattle," I thought, "I wonder what's up with our favorite SoCal foodies?" Lo-and-behold, I had no idea I'd get this multi-post treat of photographic and travel awesomeness!: ) Thanks! Krista - you are truly an inspiration! Someday I'll be calling you for pointers.
