Strawberries

We visited Tanaka Farms with some of Tristan's preschool class to pick strawberries- it was awesome!

"The Crew"- these four are the best of buds.  Sam and Tristan were even hugging during the wagon ride- so cute!  During the ride we also got to eat some veggies- Tristan of course didn't partake in any.

The Loot- Tristan ate every single one of those strawberries before we got home.

Luckily I bought more so I could make Strawberry jam for the family.  P.S. Those strawberries were so amazing- we tasted them while picking and they were super tasty.

We have a new addition to our schedule.  In Growing Families (at church) we read through a book called Visionary Parenting by Rob Rienow- it was inspiring!  One of the chapters is about Family Worship- something we were lacking.  So starting last week, Wednesday nights are Family Worship night!  Tonight's experience was so wonderful it just made me realize we should have been doing it sooner.  One of the suggestions in the book  was to read through Mark- so we read a little bit of the 1st chapter tonight.  It starts with John baptizing people in a river.  To promote discussion we asked Tristan if he knew what baptism was- of course he did.  That's what JJ did on Brian's ship, he said.  And what exactly did he do?  He got water put on his head.  Why wouldn't Tristan remember that- it was only last July?  We went on to discuss a few more things- and Michael said our four year old already knows the cardinal rule of Sunday School.  If asked a question the most likely answer is..... Jesus!  After said discussion and prayers we danced to Rob Biagi in our living room.  The little one wasn't that impressed, but the rest of us had fun!  Here's to hundreds more Family Worships!
