Sun!

"Whoa mom, what happened to my hair?"  Serious bed head my son. 

I decided to venture out to the beach with the little one again today.  The first time was the first week we had him and it didn't go so well.  Thankfully today went much better.  

Tristan wanted to go on a bike ride so we took lunch to the beach and then headed down the bike path. Thank God for the lovely weather that started this week!

The little one is listening much better and was able to handle staying in one area at the beach for the most part.  He also as a couple new words- "all done" and "uh oh".  Of course most of his words are the typical one's that only a mom can understand!  He also says mama and dada often but it isn't in relation to anyone so I consider them more syllables than actual words. 

We had a parent teacher conference for Tristan last week- they reported mostly good things!  We don't think they would have said much bad anyway about preschoolers- but he has the typical issues of talking too much when he should be listening and not saying "please and thank you".  His preschool class has started having play dates once a week outside of school and it has been great!  It's what I was hoping preschool would be with the kids in the class all enjoying each other and the moms enjoying each other as well.
