We took Dad to work today so I took Tristan to the beach after that to play around for awhile. He didn't go to school because he's just getting over a little cold so we skipped today. Which brings me to the good news that we successfully navigated our first post surgery cold. Now who knows what's in our future, but this time was great. It's only lasted three days and we didn't even have to do breathing treatments. He never had trouble breathing, except for normal cold stuff. In the past he also had that noisy breathing problem often, especially after being very active. We've noticed that since the surgery he no longer has noisy breathing. He no longer sounds like he constantly has a cold! Tristan also has started taking this little step stool he has everywhere around the house. His latest caper involves putting it next to the kitchen counters and taking stuff down. Today he went in there and came out with an avocado piece from my salad that was sitting there. So resourceful!

Tristan takes after Aunt Libby. She took a stool and then her red chair everywhere to get better access to the treasures of the world.

Great news about the breathing! He must feel better, too! Wait till he finds the drawer with your 'little' things in it - like makeup! Another two year old I know would go to that drawer when I was on the phone! Two year olds are really fun!
