Life has been excellent the past few days. Grandpa Tony was here and boy did he keep Tristan going. He loves to just follow him around and do whatever Tristan pleases. And of course, Tristan loves that! He especially enjoyed when Grandpa taught him how to catch a ball. Now we play catch A LOT. Preschool has been going great. They are working on his vocabularY (HERE WE GO again!) and it is definitely improving. They taught him "I want" a couple weeks ago BUT I CAN NEVER GET HIM TO put "I want" and what he wants together! It's always " I want" "please". So for the first time today he said, "I want milk please" in a four word sentence! I was so proud. We ditched the high chair as you can see. He now gets to sit at the table, which really just leads to him wanting to sit on our chairs not his. The video below is him reading one of his favorite Sandra Boynton books, Opposites. This page happens to be the one where you do "whisper, whisper, whisper, SHOUT!" He finds that hilarious and we go back and forth doing it for an hour or so every time we read the book!

I'm glad that he's figured out the sentences now. He'll probably be talking in huge sentences the next time I see him. He's getting to be such a big boy. The video is great! Thanks for posting.

Tristan,
Grandpa Rick can hardly wait to see you tomorrow. Let's play ball!
Love you,
Grandpa Rick
Oh my gosh, what a wonderful, thriving, delightful child you have! I wish I could see everyone again!
