DWP Holiday Lights

We found yet another free thing to do with Tristan on a suggestion from a friend of mine and again a friend of Michael's.  The holiday lights were fun- you can walk or drive through.  We chose the walk because we thought all of us would enjoy that better and it was only 1.6 miles round trip.  We definitely made the right choice because we drove up, parked in front, and walked with pretty much no crowd.  Then we laughed at the ridiculous amount of cars driving 1 mile an hour through the lights.  We were pretty sure the line stretched out to the freeway that's how many people were waiting and when we left we confirmed that suspicion.  Get out of your cars and walk people!  Tristan loved the lights he was fascinated the whole way down.  On the way back we let him out of the stroller and he walked about half of the path pointing out cars and stars and laughing a lot.  It must have been good exercise  because he went straight to sleep when we got home.  It was a good warm up for Zoolights!  Michael tried to tell me that everything in L.A. is better, but I'm pretty sure Zoolights will be a little more creative/exciting than what we saw!  Plus there won't be any cars.  See a lot of you soon!

I love the picture where Tristan personifies "wonder."
