We started some new discipline tactics this week.  The first inspired by my parents- The Saturday Sack.
If Tristan leaves toys lying around after bedtime they get put in the Saturday sack until the following Saturday.
These are the faces I got in response to his light saber and star wars helmet getting put in the sack.
The second is the Oops Jar.  Inspired by a new friend.  I mentioned to her that Tristan gave me an attitude like a teenage girl.  She has two preteen girls so she told me that they have an oops jar.  Anytime one of the girls talks to her or treats her disrespectfully they go to the Oops Jar and grab a consequence.  The consequences for Tristan are things like, getting dressed/brushing teeth with no help from mom/dad,  no tv, helping mom wash dishes, etc.  It's working well so far.
The annual party we throw for they guys who manage teams for Michael.  It was a brunch this year and I went with more of a snowflake/snowman theme.  Super fun- the Pioneer Woman Baked French Toast is to die for!

Tristan's faces are priceless. I'm glad the discipline tactics are working. Your snowman themed party and food look wonderful!

Those are good discipline ideas. Remind me of them in a couple years.
I wish I lived by you so I could go to your parties!
