The dreaded puzzle
Harmonica- I love that Tristan only half know how to play the harmonica. Sometimes real sound comes out when he blows and sometimes he makes the noise with his mouth while pretending to play : )
Cooking- Lately he has been loving his toy kitchen- always pouring coffee or making cookies in the oven. It's really telling what the adults do around our house!
Lego Tower- Tristan loves his legos too. I think that's the #1 thing he spends time on in a day. He built that tower all by himself- seriously with almost 0 help from mom and dad. So to our lego doubting cousin- he took the legos that were supposed to be made into a firehouse and built a huge tower instead. See they do encourage creativity! : )
The Dreaded Puzzle- I think this puzzle is 4 year old level and even I had trouble doing it. It's always fun when things for toddlers make you feel dumb : )
Today while painting with water colors Tristan reminded me that the rainbow colors are Roy G Biv. And violet is kind of like purple but not quite purple. Ahhh- the things he's learned from Sesame Street. Seriously that show has actually taught him a lot- just ask his grandma joy about hexagons! Although there is one episode called Mine-itis where Alan is grabbing all his newspapers and saying mine, mine, mine. The resolution being that it's better to share, but Tristan has taken to picking up huge piles of toys and running around saying mine, mine, mine then throwing them on the floor. I'm just hoping he doesn't do this at school!
Yesterday I received a few letters in the mail. The first two envelopes I opened were really sweet notes about the molar pregnancy. Then I opened an envelope from Grandma Joy with.... a sock Tristan had left at Christmas! That made me laugh, you never know what will be in the mail.

Yikes! I did not know about Roy G. Biv until a friend - Alice Amblad - taught it to me when I was in my 20s!
Love, Mom and the Dad
What a day you've had....let's see a harmonica playing, Top Chef who will be an architect! I heard a harmonica video from You Tube and the guy was playing the William Tell Overture! You never know what may turn up!
Tristan, this goes back to the bike: Tell your Mom you want to put your sandwich and apple in the trunk when you go to the park! Wouldn't that be fun?
