Spring Training

Tristan watching Ichiro bat

Well we made it to Arizona and back this weekend. It was a quick trip, but well worth it to spend time with our family. Grandma Shadle had an excellent time visiting with Tristan- she hasn't seen him since November so he's changed a lot since then. We got to go out and watch the Mariners take batting practice and then headed to downtown Phoenix to look at the Diamondback stadium. Tristan got his first glimpses of our favorites- Buhner, Ichiro, Ibanez, Beltre, and Sexson. Yes, Buhner was there helping out with practice! There was plenty of time to sit by the golf course and enjoy the weather too. He also got his first crack at crawling up a step. Grandma has a small one between rooms and he thought it was really fun to try and go up and down. That was quite an experience- kind of rolling down it. I had a lot of photos to choose from so hopefully I can get some more up this week of Easter.

Baseball and little boys! A winning combination - your trip sounds like it was a tremendous lot of fun! The smile from the baseball is catching!
