G-Tube Gone

So Tristan successfully got his G-Tube taken out yesterday! The surgeon came in and was kind of explaining what a G-Tube does to his student and then he suddenly just took it out. I was about to say, wait I'm not ready and then it was out! Kind of like ripping a bandaid off. Tristan cried for real for about a minute and then he started in on his drama cry which is seriously funny. He just kind of keeps making crying noises with no tears and looking around the room to make sure we are feeling bad for him. The hole has closed up, it just has a little dead skin around it that we may have to get some silver nitrate on to get rid of it. Today I bought yogurt, pudding, and cheese for Tristan. I also made some new baby foods with chicken and new fruits. I'm so excited for him to try all of it, but we have to wait because of the food allergy thing. He only gets a new food every 4 days. I probably went overboard in the grocery shopping department! Photo/Video of his fun with green beans tomorrow.

Yippee! Praise God! No tubes....hope and pray it all goes skipping along tremendously! Know it will. Now, that Christmas is getting closer, I'm really anxious to see you and the new young man!
Love,
Rosalee
